What S.T.A.R. actually asks

The project is not “elliptic curves determine the universe.” It asks whether arithmetic invariants can be mapped into geometric and topological structures that produce statistically nontrivial, reproducible correspondence with independent astronomical data.

The program does not assume

  • Elliptic curves generate cosmic structure.
  • Rank is cosmic time or gravitational potential.
  • Arithmetic replaces Einstein’s equations.
  • Dark matter is torsion; dark energy is rank growth.
  • A unique or bijective arithmetic-to-cosmic map exists.
  • BSD is required for the mapping.

Five core questions

  1. Q1

    Arithmetic → cosmic structure

Can arithmetic invariants be mapped into geometric or topological structures that correspond nontrivially to independently observed cosmic structure?

  2. Q2

    Arithmetic topography

Can those invariants become scalar or vector fields whose geometry can be compared with matter, lensing, or radiation — without assuming they are gravity?

  3. Q3

    Rank and the cosmic web

Does rank, alone or with other invariants, predict clusters, filaments, voids, or web complexity better than shuffled and alternative controls?

  4. Q4

    Evolution

Can an arithmetic family indexed by τ reproduce features of cosmic topology as a function of redshift, without identifying τ with z or rank with time?

  5. Q5

    Symbolic fields

If robust correspondence exists, can it be expressed as a consistent variational theory that recovers known limits? RTCH is a candidate, not a replacement for Einstein gravity.

Layer I

Empirical structure

Does it correspond? Rank, topology, SFR, density — with nulls.

Layer II–III

Geometry, then physics

Build h_arith and F_arith as mathematics first. Compare to fields later.

Layer IV

First principles last

RTCH, ECC, and H₀ are downstream of independent correspondence.

Do not ask whether the theory can be made to fit the universe. Ask whether a fixed mathematical construction predicts structure that was not used to construct it.
